Grimm Forest Illumination
A fantastical fairytale-like world
“Grimm Forest Illumination” is held every day from late November to early January from 17:00 to 21:00. The event envelopes Grimm Forest in magical light from the illumination of 550,000 light bulbs. The illuminated castle is particularly magical, like the wonderous world of a fairytale that enraptures both children and adults alike.

Southern Area
This area boasts evocative historical buildings and townscapes, such as the Ashikaga School, known for being the oldest school in Japan, and Kura no Machi, a district where buildings from the mid-19th century, a time when the area prospered as a commercial district, still stand. At Ashikaga Flower Park, you can see 350 blooming wisteria flowers, flowing downward from above, creating a world of enchantment.
