I work mainly in the Oku-Nikko area of Nikko National Park. Diverse natural environments are packed into a compact area, giving you plenty of ways to explore. I propose plans so that you can enjoy your experience comfortably and at your own pace. Whether you “only have one hour,” “want to visit many places,” or “prefer to explore one place in depth,” please feel free to share your requests or preferences first.
I provide guide activities in the mountains, rivers, and lakes of Nikko National Park, mainly around Oku-Nikko and the Kirifuri Highlands.
In spring and autumn, I lead trekking tours in the Nikko Mountain range with its fresh greenery and vibrant autumn leaves, and packrafting on the breathtaking Lake Chuzenji. In summer, I offer shower climbing—jumping straight into Nikko’s crystal-clear streams, and in winter, I offer ice climbing, frozen waterfall trekking, and snowshoeing activities in a world of snow and ice.

We organize a variety of nature experience activities throughout the year, and our programs include mountain climbing, craft workshops, outdoor cooking, tree climbing, outdoor saunas, river play, snow play, BBQs, and more.
Our activity area spans the mountains, forests, rivers, and snowy landscapes of the Nasu area within Nikko National Park.

I am a nature guide in the Oku-Nikko area that supports nature observation with a motto of offering flexible, ever-changing guides tailored to each guest’s interests while making the most of the natural world of the moment. My goal is to provide eye-opening experiences. For example, in birdwatching, I don’t just focus on the birds themselves but also reveal their connections with the broader natural environment, transforming an ordinary view into something full of meaning. Walking with a guide can make the world look completely different—and fascinating! I invite you to enjoy that kind of experience with me.
I offer a wide range of guiding experiences in the Oku-Nikko area, especially around Senjogahara, from leisurely hikes to light long-course trekking, and even snowshoeing in winter. I enjoy observing the shapes and behaviors of living creatures, as well as the terrain, and asking questions like how and why they came to become the way they are. Often, there are ingenious adaptations or hidden histories that leave us amazed. Let’s enjoy nature together, sometimes by thinking and discovering, and other times by simply relaxing and spacing out.
As a highly experienced guide with extensive knowledge of the nature of Oku-Nikko, I will propose the most suitable hiking and trekking courses for you, centered around Lake Chuzenji and Senjogahara.
