After working as a teacher at public elementary and junior high schools for 12 years, I decided to leave the field of education and shift into the outdoor industry so that I could share dynamic experiences in Nikko’s natural environment with children, adults, and travelers alike.
Nikko National Park, the area where I was born and raised, is a place where great natural beauty and culture coexist. I strive to create tours that allow participants to fully experience its hidden charms and learn about things you wouldn’t normally see or know through all five senses, while guiding in the mountains, rivers, and lakes of Nikko every day.
I am also dedicated to adventure education activities that provide children with opportunities for outdoor exploration and play.

I provide guide activities in the mountains, rivers, and lakes of Nikko National Park, mainly around Oku-Nikko and the Kirifuri Highlands. In spring and autumn, I lead trekking tours in the Nikko Mountain range with its fresh greenery and vibrant autumn leaves, and packrafting on the breathtaking Lake Chuzenji. In summer, I offer shower climbing—jumping straight into Nikko’s crystal-clear streams, and in winter, I offer ice climbing, frozen waterfall trekking, and snowshoeing activities in a world of snow and ice. By stepping in together with a guide, you’ll discover stunning views and a deeper, more thrilling side of Nikko.
